I understand that sometimes we need to play the career game. But sometimes I chafe at this game, and wish women could be more authentic and real.
As an executive who has chosen to ride/walk to work for most of my career, who resents wearing make up and live very "simple" life, I don't see many success stories of women winning despite not playing the game.
Hence me loving this story!
Gillian strongly believes social and economic change are driven by technology, and if women continue to be under-represented in technical roles, it may create a larger social divide and give rise to gender stereotypes.
